Our fund supports a healthy life style, which starts to be formed at the Sports Lessons at schools. We agree with the concept of Junior Z team, they are trying to change the system of physical education at schools, to make different active games popular among Ukrainian children, so that they become interested in sports and active style of life.
To motivate PE teachers is of a great importance. They can provide a special approach to the lessons, so that each student can find his or her favourite kind of sports. That’s why we started searching of the best PE teacher, who gives more than it is demanded.
Oleksandr Pedan, the team of Junior Z and our fund worked together to choose ten nominees among all the participants. It was a very difficult task. We are happy to announce, that the number of PE teachers who really care about the health of the children and their desire to do sports, who are eager to reform the system of physical education, turned out to be bigger then we supposed.
On May, 3 the jury of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine proclaimed Vitaliy Mushynskyi from Sudylkiv village in Khmelnytskyi Region the best PE teacher of 2020.
The winner got money prize and in spring he will visit Germany, where he’ll get the opportunity to observe the school programs of the best European schools, to learn their experience, especially in working with the disabled children. The winner will also visit the Olympic city, where he will have the motivating meetings with the sportsmen.
We hope that the epidemic situation will get better till spring and we will be able to visit other countries and accomplish our educational programs in teachers’ trainings abroad.
