IOSJ and NAMU presented the world's first Crimean Tatar audio guide

On January 23, the National Art Museum of Ukraine hosted a solemn presentation of our long-awaited project - the first museum audio guide in the Crimean Tatar language.

Yulia Lytvynets, Director General of NAMU, Mustafa Dzhemilev, Leader of the Crimean Tatar People, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Crimean Tatar People's Majlis, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Anife Kurtseitova, Chairman of the Crimean Family Foundation, Nadiia Ratke, the International Organization of Social Justice (IOSJ Ukraine), Guyana Yuksel, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Vladislav Berkovsky, executive director of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation took the floor. The host of the evening was Akhtem Seitablaev, director of the Crimean House. The musical accompaniment of the event was provided by the Crimean Tatar ensemble Musafir. 

"As a museum that preserves the national heritage of our state - and language is also our heritage - we realized that after the audio guide in Ukrainian, the next language should be Crimean Tatar. I was also very pleased that there were partners who actively participated in the implementation. The project involved more than a hundred people who translated, edited texts, donated their voices, provided recording and other technical support. Together, we have invested our knowledge and efforts not only to preserve the cultural heritage of Ukraine but also to tell the world the story of us, of each of us, "said Yulia Lytvynets, Director General of the NAMU.

"For me, this project is about respect, about unity, and about the fact that every Ukrainian, if he has the opportunity, should join and support. When Yulia Lytvynets, the director-general of the National Art Museum of Ukraine, approached me with the idea of ​​a Crimean Tatar audio guide, I was in favor with both hands, said Nadiia Ratke, founder of the International Fund for Social Justice of Ukraine (IOSJ Ukraine).

The audio guide was voiced by the director of the Crimean House Akhtem Seitablaev, chairman of the Crimean Family NGO Anife Kurtseitova, member of the Crimean Tatar People's Majlis Gayana Yuksel, actress and journalist Elvina Zeynedinova, Crimean Tatar philologist theater and cinema from the peninsula of Ukraine, which enjoys the well-deserved love of the Crimean Tatar people.

We hope that now, thanks to the audio tour in another language, even more connoisseurs of Ukrainian art will be able to get acquainted with it. We invite you to listen to the audio guide - it is available in the museum on a regular basis.
